EUDR Impact Analysis in traideGo & traideCompliance

Learn how traide AI supports you in implementing the new EU Deforestation Regulation in the best possible way.

What Is the EUDR Impact Analysis?

The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) requires companies to ensure that their goods do not contribute to deforestation or forest degradation. The traide AI impact analysis feature shows you whether and to what extent your products may fall under the scope of the regulation.

EUDR in traideGo: Product-Level Analysis

In traideGo, you’ll receive an immediate notification about potential EUDR relevance during classification.

  • As soon as you classify a product manually, the system automatically checks whether its customs tariff number (HS code) falls within the scope of the EUDR.

  • If so, the label "Possibly affected" or "Affected" will appear in the result overview.

  • This indication applies only to the currently assessed product and serves as an initial reference. By clicking the linked source, you can access further information.

This allows you to assess during classification whether additional documentation or due diligence obligations may apply to the product.

EUDR in traideCompliance: Project-Wide and Master Data Analysis

1. Impact Analysis of Your Classification Projects

Immediately after uploading your classification project, traideCompliance provides an EUDR Impact Analysis in the form of an export:

  • During project export, an automatic assessment is made based on the first four digits of the proposed customs tariff number.

  • The preliminary analysis is based on the current information, even if the final classification has not yet been completed. The reliability of this assessment directly depends on the quality of the provided information or product description.

  • The export includes two additional columns (in the extended Excel export via the black button).

  • EUDR affected (Yes/No) - evaluated based on the information provided or the selected HS code

  • EUDR Scope - indicates the basis on which the impact was determined

This allows you to identify potentially EUDR-relevant products early in the project phase and set priorities accordingly.

2. Impact Analysis of Your Master Data

In the area of fully classified master data, you’ll find a dedicated EUDR tab.

Here, all products that may be EUDR-affected according to their classification are listed.

  • This list can be downloaded entirely as an Excel file.

  • This gives you a complete overview of all affected items based on their final customs tariff numbers.

This makes fulfilling your reporting obligations significantly easier, especially when handling large datasets.

💡 This export is ideal for documentation, internal communication, or audits.
