The ideal product description
To ensure accurate customs tariff classification, the product description should contain at least two key pieces of information:

A general term or overarching description of the product (“bookshelf,” “cat food, Mr. Beef 400g can, veal and chicken”)

Material composition (physical makeup, e.g., made of steel, made of cotton, made of 40% plastic and 60% glass, etc.)

Intended use (what the item is used for/where it is used/built into, etc.)
Examples of acceptable product descriptions:

“Profile made of stainless steel X2CrTiNb18,” “Chair made of wood,” “Bearing housing”
