Permanent Links in traideCompliance

Discover how permanent links in traideCompliance let you instantly access the relevant products on the platform when exporting your project data.

What are permanent links?

A permanent link is a unique, lasting reference to a specific product within a classification project. It comes into play whenever you export your project data.

It takes you directly to the product view in traideCompliance, where you can find all relevant information: the product description, selected customs tariff number, legal product description, the AI’s reasoning, and other details about the classification process.

As long as you or your team have access to the project, this link remains valid permanently.

Why are they helpful?

Permanent links make internal collaboration easier and create transparency in the classification process. They enable:

  • quick access to specific product information,
  • clear traceability during discussions about customs classifications,
  • direct integration into ERP or SAP systems, and
  • consistent data references in internal documents or compliance reports.

In other words: instead of searching for product data or sending screenshots, one click on the saved link is all it takes.

How do I find and use permanent links?

Here’s a step-by-step guide:

After the export, an Excel file opens that clearly lists all products in the project, including the permanent product links in the last column.

These links take you directly to the corresponding product in the project with just one click.

How to use the links in your ERP or SAP system

Many of our customers integrate the permanent links directly into their ERP or SAP systems, for example, in the material master data.

This allows the team to access the corresponding product in traideCompliance with just one click, trace the full classification history, and view the AI’s reasoning and classifications during internal reviews or discussions with customs authorities.

Access, of course, is only available to users with a valid login and the appropriate permissions within their traide account.
