Classifying manually in traideCompliance

Classify one product within 3 steps.

The Steps:

1. Click on Product Creation in the top left.

2. In this view, you can define the project (storage location) and optionally the article number on the left side. You can also directly verify a customs tariff number.

On the right side, enter information about the product. You can use text, URLs, images/screenshots, or PDFs.

Do you have multiple data points? Do you want to combine a URL and a PDF?
Simply take screenshots from the different sources, and the AI will extract the relevant details.

3. In the second step, you enter the chat with our AI Alice. You receive the full documentation so you can understand how the AI arrived at its suggestion. The AI highlights uncertainties and ambiguities, weighs possible classifications, and excludes chapters where appropriate.

You will find the AI chat in the bottom right, where you can ask follow-up questions at any time.

Red: The product description was insufficient.
Orange: The AI has uncertainties or follow-up questions, for example regarding material or intended use.
Green: The AI assumes that all tariff-relevant information has been provided and can generate a classification proposal without further questions.

4. Have you already classified a similar product? Then click on the “Master Data” decision basis in the top right of step 2.

At the same time, the AI compares tariff-relevant information and checks whether a comparable product already exists in the master data (historical data).
You can also directly select a customs tariff number here.

5. In step 3, you will find the summary and documentation. Here you can select additional nomenclatures, such as HTS, UK, or the 11-digit code.

The legal customs product description is automatically generated based on the initial input. You will again find all sources and references here. Additionally, Dual-Use classification can also be performed.

On the right side, you will find initial information on duties and taxes, as well as the integration with Access2Markets.
