Creating the legally required customs description of goods is often a time-consuming, repetitive, and tedious task. This is another area where AI can help.
The generation of the customs goods description currently takes place in Step 3 – the Summary. Below the selected customs tariff number, you’ll find the option "Generate Description" on the left. Simply click the button, and the AI will generate the goods description—if it hasn’t already done so automatically.
Based on the product input and relevant BTIs, the AI generates a customs-compliant goods description that can be used and carried forward in further processes. Of course, the description can be edited manually. To the right, there is a button to copy the description.
💡A good customs goods description requires a detailed and well-prepared product description in the first step. Please keep in mind that the AI can only work with the input you provide.
