Grouping & Fastlane
Efficient pre-grouping and pre- classifying projects
Grouping
“Grouping” is a function in which the AI automatically detects products with similar attributes (e.g., variants like color, size, packaging) and clusters them into logical groups – even before you take any manual action. This helps maintain clarity and reduces redundant work.
Fastlane
Fastlane is an accelerated classification process for products with particularly high data quality. Here, the AI already suggests a tariff code. When you confirm the case for one reference product, that decision automatically transfers to the entire group – done with a single click.
With Grouping & Fastlane, you harness the full power of our AI: As soon as you upload your product data, items are automatically detected, intelligently sorted, and grouped. This saves you time, reduces manual work, and lets you classify entire variant families with just one click – whenever the data quality allows it.
Step by Step: How it works
- Upload your product data
Whether via Excel/CSV or interface – once your products are uploaded to the platform, the AI process (AGI) starts automatically. - Intelligent analysis
Our AI examines product names, descriptions, material information, article numbers, units of measure, origin, and usage. It identifies differences like “blouse white” vs. “blouse black” and structures the data accordingly. - Automatic grouping
Based on the analysis, the AI creates dynamic groups – e.g., product variants. These groups are immediately visible in the interface and can be manually edited or merged if needed.
❗️Important: Grouping happens automatically in the background – no extra click required. Still, it’s worth reviewing the logic behind it! - Classify via Fastlane
Activate Fastlane: Check your account settings to ensure Fastlane rules are enabled.
In the Fastlane, you’ll see all groups with high data quality and a proposed tariff code. You review the reference product – if everything checks out, click “Complete.” The entire group is then classified.
The decision automatically applies to all group members. The group receives the status “completed.” - Review groups & classify manually
Not all groups have perfect data. In the “Grouping” view, you’ll find these cases: The AI recognized similar products but couldn’t suggest a reliable tariff code. Here, your expert assessment is needed.
You can then switch to the regular “Classify” view to review and finalize individual cases.
